ill stand with my head held high, and never regret as years go by, until you sweep me out like an ocean, and I'm gone with the tide. i can't tell the difference between the breeze and the air that you breathe through your teeth, but your words are like hurricanes, and I'm gone with the wind. take this disgust from my lungs or show me how its done please take this detest from my chest take this disgust from my lungs or show me how its done replace it with what you think is best i haven't breathed in weeks and i haven't slept in years here i am again pushing forwards towards dead ends take this disgust from my lungs or show me how its done please take this detest from my chest take this disgust from my lungs or show me how its done replace it with what you think is best have we lost our pride? have we lost our dignity? its these thoughts inside they're fucking killing me have we lost our pride? have we lost our dignity? its these thoughts inside they're fucking killing me ill be a better man ill be the best man i can be have faith in me just stay with me ill be the best man i can be

you forget that i remember when we got drunk, when we got dumped, who you loved and who you fucked but thats just growing up stolen glances and fucked up chances i feel so removed from my youth i never moved on i just gave up we spend year to year wasting our lives from pier to pier were not growing up were just growing squeeze blood from all the stones on the beach and put this part of our lives to peace while the sea swallows the sun whole lets forget this place was ever our home i never moved on i just gave up we spend year to year wasting our lives from pier to pier were not growing up were just growing i found myself at the bottom of these bottles, dwelling on the past and what i have become, theres no future here and i have to leave, these streets, these streets, these streets offer nothing to me but I'm still searching for a way out i could follow this coast into a shallow grave

Old Bones 03:25
i used to have so much to say, i got lost in my words and your letters, and nothing could say it better than, you stand for everything that I'm against and I've learned the hard way theres no such thing as love, you trick your mind to trick your soul, live together , die alone this isn't death from above, this is death from the ground up I've watched, I've waited I've lost, I've created I've seen, I've conquered I've been, I'm nothing and I've learned the hard way theres no such thing as love, you trick your mind to trick your soul, live together die alone its these deep set thoughts in my head, that every word i speak will be forgotten in the end you've had so much time to reinvent, that i don't know where your beginning ends i hear we all die with secrets
4.
Home/less 03:15
standing next to what i used to call home the windows look so much brighter from the outside like tinted eyes holding everything behind I'm leaving everything behind. regrets, resentment, repetition more than you'll ever know regrets, resentment, repetition and thats a feeling close to home so many times I've dragged myself back here from fights, through addiction and you've never had a fucking clue I've had to learn the hard way and raise myself into the man I am today you dealt me selfish when I needed selfless you dealt me selfish when I needed selfless one foot in front of the other with more than a chip on my shoulder they say blood this thicker than water, but ill be drinking something stronger tonight. I'm sick and tired of coming back to this place, I'm turning my back and washing my hands, of you and this fucking house I'll burn you to the ground it was that day i promised to keep my heart separate from you the only thing that connect us is the second name i was born into

New FATHOMS EP 'COLD YOUTH' out September 30th

Pushing far beyond their roots on the South Coast of England, Fathoms are a band with big ambitions and even bigger tunes.

Having already toured Europe, the UK and the US extensively (and largely off their own backs), this insanely driven melodic hardcore/metal outfit have carved out quite a reputation on the international scene.

Since their formation at the tail-end of 2010 the five-piece, led by charismatic frontman Max Campbell, have torn down venues around the globe, recorded an EP with Tom Denney (For The Fallen Dreams, A Day To Remember) in Florida, and shared stages with A Hero A Fake, Legend, Set Your Goals, Deez Nutz and Napoleon, barely seeing their own beds along the way. Impressive stuff, considering they’re still only in their early twenties.

Since day one this lot have been unwilling to settle for second best, even going so far as to starting their own booking agency to find the right tours, and doing everything in their power to get the message out there. They’re equally at home playing alongside out and out hardcore acts and more metal-leaning bands, with a beguiling technical edge to their music and plenty of blunt-force energy. At the end of the day Fathoms are all about making great music and great memories, and the last couple of years have been rich in both. The best is still to come, however.
The band’s free-for-download EP ‘Transitions’ received rave reviews from the UK rock press, and with their latest, as yet-unnamed new release representing a major step forward, they’ll prove a force to be reckoned with throughout 2013.
